Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Griddle at thegriddlegame.com (the "Service"), operated by 3 Dogs Advisory, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Griddle is a free, browser-based daily word puzzle game. A new puzzle is generated each day, and players find words on a 6×6 letter grid to score points. The Service is provided at no cost and requires no account registration. The Service is supported by advertising displayed through Google AdSense.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Intellectual Property

The Griddle name, game design, visual design, source code, and all associated content are the property of 3 Dogs Advisory, LLC or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, or publicly display any portion of the Service without our prior written consent.

The word dictionary used by the game is licensed separately and remains the property of its respective rights holder.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose — playing the Griddle word puzzle. You agree not to:

• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to interact with the Service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the production build
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Circumvent or interfere with advertising displayed on the Service

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the dictionary or scoring system.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, 3 Dogs Advisory, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, regardless of the theory of liability.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, which in all cases is zero since the Service is provided free of charge.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service displays advertisements through Google AdSense, which is a third-party service operated by Google LLC. Your interaction with advertisements is governed by Google's own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of any third-party services.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how information is collected, used, and protected. Game data is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Since all game data is stored locally in your browser, no data deletion on our part is required.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
